- Be a stay at home parent
- Live in Salt Lake County or Bountiful
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Capable of caring for children both physically and emotionally
- Have an adequate income to meet your household's current needs
- Completion of 32 hours of pre-service training and CPR/First Aid
- Have a driver's license and access to a car
- Provide four references from non-relatives
- Have a bed and bedroom space for a child
- Have a desire to share your heart and home with a child in need
